Seadweller I searched Google, but didn't come up with anything, but I'll admit, I didn't look THAT hard...😄 Has anyone seen a kit that converts the fixed, front tank mounts on the earlier 851's, to a hinged set-up? If not, I may look into constructing one.
Mr.R brad black wroteno. if you try to support the rear of the tank on that bracket i'd expect it to break.As many of the alloy tanks have even without trying to use them as a pivot. Steve R
brad black yes, mine was previously repaired when i bought it. his 91 should have a steel tank shouldn't it? i'd be surprised if even it tolerated it for too long.
Mr.R The tab on the back of your carbon tank looks a lot stronger than the original alloy tank item. I've wracked my brain/memory and can't remember an alloy tank one that wasn't fractured at least, most were broken all the way across. Steve R
