Hi Folks,
Just taken delivery of 2004 St4s, Been Sat since late 2014, A little grubby but cleans up well.
Ok she stated ok when battery was charged up and fitted, though imobilizer did not recognised Key
A couple of times. I tried Red Key ok then Black one ok great, I thought. Then this afternoon neither working, striping bikethen doing a thought clean and checking Convector.
Couple of thing's None related Engine paint peeling badly, the Original battery tender plug had both negative & posative Terminate fitted to the posative on battery!
But when I removed battery & tray I found a single Early had not been mounted to negative on battery, When all cleaned up I am hoping the imobilizer issue is down to bad early floating around Engine case.
Any thoughts would be appriciated, I am hoping to use the bike this year and then strip it down for a project 851/996 track bike.
Last question, eeing as I dont have an 851 wiring loom, every thing else but loom.
Thought I would transplant all the St4s electrical along with Engine in to my 851.
Again your thoughts would be appriciated.

Are you able to remove the imobilizer, I am led to believe it is a fault wanting to happen.
As yet I have to put mine back together to test, hoping just bad conection.
