Hello all, I am fairly new to this forum. I had been reading a few posts before purchasing a fabulous 888 SP4 a couple of months back.
To my great surprise I am discovering how tough it is to register the bike here in Switzerland although all documents and parts are in perfect order.
There are no other SP4s in the country which means that I need to go through expensive and complex testing to make it to the Swiss road homologation but the worse part being that these tests will have a very little chance to be passed.
So although it's my favourite bike since 1992, I am forced to put it on sale as I don't want to keep it still at home.
The bike is in astonishing conditions and went through a total check right before I bought it (intervention documents available). All the parts are original (except for the cooling water pipes and grips). Tyres have 800 km on. Engine timing belt replaced recently and checked in December.
It has just 13,500 miles and it has been kept always with great care.
The bike is registered to the ASI (AUTOMOTOCLUB STORICO ITALIANO) under the previous owner name.
Plenty of information and photos available for genuinely and seriously interested potential buyer. The bike is presented to other market places.
Selling price is 16,500Β£ which is the price I paid + the inspection/overhaul done in December.
Thank you for the attention
