It would be easier to find a correct dated set of panels with no damage on the inside and give to a really good painter. I had all my SP4 panels done with the best decals I could get and the bike looks brilliant. Too good to clean and put small scratches on them.
Thanks, I'm in midst of that process now. I missed a pair of new, OEM panels that were for sale by thinking too long about it. $1,000 for the pair. Still putting quarters in the ass-kicking machine for missing that.
