Sp1?

Hi,
Does a 851 Sp1 circa 1989 exist, or would it just be a strada. As far as I see there where the obvious change from the Tricolore Strada to the 89 model. Changes included 17" wheels, fairings, mirrors and more internal am sure but still single seat.

I assumed the early Tricolore Kit would be Regards as the first Sp1?

The reason I ask, people advertise 851 Sp1 that just look like the early strada, also if it exists should it have a head stock, Seen some on M1r head stock that look home made. Just like other bikes advertised as Sp3 when again they are series 3 not sp. Incedently mostly Trade seller.

Could anyone help me understand what a Ducati 851SP1 should look like

it's not an sp1, it's an sp. does look just like an 89. should have a little plaque on the top triple. single injector kit engine in normal 89 frame and running gear.

100 made, so the rarest sp of all.

As it has the Farne type exhaust from kit, Would this have same motor as Kit?
