Wondered if anyone knew whether the red 1989 851 SP1 model was ever officially imported and sold in the UK through official UK franchised dealers back then or was the 1990 851 SP2 the first 851 Sport Production to be officially imported into the UK? I've read in the usual books that the 1989 851 SP1 was intended for the Italian market for a certain local race series there but I've never seen any info on whether the 1989 851 SP1 were sold by the Ducati factory at the time to other country markets?
