Nux A friend of mine has a spare of wheels, of which he tough they were Marchesini. They aren't, they are Marvics. He has installed them on his 851. But does any one know of which bike they are? Thanks
dudlington A good guide will be the PCD of the brake fixings. It will take you some time but you need to do this. If you can identify which bike they came off then they are worth more and you can explore the options you have. Very difficult (Almost impossible) to tell from the information you have listed.
Mr.R Back in the day Marvic made mag' wheels that were a straight fit to 851/888's, they' accepted the OEM Duati cush drive, discs and spacers. A mate has a pair on his SPS. Steve R

Nux Well, the Marvic's that I have had, had 5 points fixing the gear sprocket, not 6 points. And the Marchesini's has also 5 points, so I was wondering. I guess these are the early type Marvic's from the period of the tricolore. Could this be correct?
nine16 These are definitely Marvic (Speedline?) for the 851. Drive hubs can be proprietary to the wheel manufacturer and the intended model. You can find 5, 6, and even 7 cush units for various applications, but these use Ducati's OEM hub. The problem is they also use Ducati's cush rubbers, which are almost always a complete pain in the dick to remove and replace.
