tubbylad Hello All, I'm not convinced my seat unit is original. Should there be a part number moulded into it and if so where would I find it? Thanks, Martin
dudlington The seat unit does not have any number moulded into it because of the way it was manufactured (Hand lay up in a mould not injection moulded) Please post some photos of the inside and especially around the fixing for the rear bum pad. I,m sure the forum can confirm or deny its origins. Most of the fake ones are fibreglass or Carbon............the originals are about twice the weight of the fibreglass one so it should feel heavy and very stiff !!!!!.

griff851 Another maybe interesting bit about originals, the factory ones have pink undercoat on them if you score an unpainted piece. I thought my odd, turns out it's about getting colour depth.
