franck03 Hello , My SP3 is mounted with the air hoses connected directly to the rubber inlet pipe. I saw a lot of SP3 climb like this. I tried to put it back as original but I think it works less well. have you tried this editing too?
franck03 I would like to know if the owners of SPS have kept their original installation or if they have returned to the original filtration of the SP. When is it from premature wear of the motor? My SS of 1977 rolls with cones, without filter for years, like many SS or GT and has no pronounced wear.
stiglarsenDK SPS - Inlet Correct, the SPS inlets does go direct into the rubber body, the hoses has a rough metal filter before they enter the rubber body.. Cant say if the has any impact +/-
franck03 Yes it is. Do you have a picture of these filters on the pipes? I find that the bike works much better in this configuration.

stiglarsenDK Metal strainer Here u goe Hose and rubber part are std parts.. , strainers unique for the under filter inlet I believe.. ATTENTION : as far as I can judge , these metal strainers could pass through the rubber part and worst case end up in the inlet trumpets ... now that could be a very nasty thing...
franck03 Thank you for the photos. Mine are connected like that. The grilles are attached as a safety measure.
