Check out "Scitsu rev counters" pretty easy to find on the net.
I have one for my little 250 Desmo, they've been in use on the racing scene for years, with many wins for bikes with them fitted.
I'd not thought of using one for my 851, but will go down that route when my Laverda one gives up the ghost.
