Agreed. It's an annoying trend. Having done spares parts in the shop, it's helpful. This isn't a shop. Everyone has a phone these days just about, pics are good.

It's the metal plate that holds the two fairing side pieces together at the bottom, has a couple of well-nut in it:

It would be pretty easy to make one out of some scrap sheet metal

Sorry guys, I thought the part number would make it easy...Yes, it's the small metal bracket that connects the trailing edge of the fairing underbody section together...I'm OEM obsessive, so if I could track down an original part, that would be great.
