Henk I would have thought as the speed of the machines increased and the size of the rear spindle increased that the thickness of the bracket for the rear caliper would increase accordingly. I have a rear bracket from apparently one of Foggy,s old bike that has an extra hole drilled in it for a speed sensor (Kind of makes sense as the electronics were developing). For sure the early 851 bikes did not have this feature. If you need the thickness of this one let me know and I will dig it out and measure it.
