Unfortunately, it is a very difficult task...
Finding a good translator for this kind of hyper-specialized content is almost impossible. The translator needs to understand perfectly what he (or she) is translating to get a proper and readable text
The translation to English was generated by a professional company and when it arrived... well looked more goggle translate style that anyhting else. Not because the translator was unprofessional but because the terms used are exclusive to (Ducati) mechanics and if you don't now what a camshaft does it is difficult to grasp the exact meaning of the procedures described in the text.
So, being acceptably proficient in English I reviewied and rewrote the whole text that I then submitted to the editor. The editor reviewed it again, made his lot of questions and observations and rewrote some parts in proper English, as achieving a perfect inverse translation is not possible for me...
The text you're going to get flows naturally and might have been written by a native, but is the result of the huge effort of two single people, both quite familiar with motoring mechanical terms and because my English is good enough to be able work in the text.
I could manage to do the same in French, but I'd need an editor as involved as Veloce's and I don't know if I'd feel in the mood to restart this work again.
So, you can imagine that I'm not very optimistic in seeing the book translated to other languages...
