Apart from sp5 underslung rear break & wrong cans any else leap out & smack you in the face with this one ?

Lack of helmet lock, incorrect carbon clutch cover, carbon rear hugger, brake hoses/alloy fittings, the link pipes are also wrong along with the carbon cans and the rear light lens looks to be a smoked cut down Tricolore unit.
All fairly easy to correct, apart from the rear hugger and the original cans/link pipes (which should be integral) that are pretty much unobtainable.

Steve- I agree with most of what you stated-- but I have never seen any SP model with a helmet lock installed and my SP2 came from the factory with a rear carbon hugger which looked exactly like the stock plastic piece found on the Strada. My front fender was also carbon-painted red which looked exactly like the Strada piece.

It will be easier for the next caretaker to install a set of period Termis (or replicas) then find the original mufflers-- but at least the bike will look more presentable than what is on the bike presently.

FWIW, my SP3 has the mounting for a helmet lock on the frame,but the lock itself came in a cardboard box with other bits and pieces, which where it has stayed! Both the front and rear huggers are un-painted carbon fibre.

Regarding the rear light, not sure what you mean Steve? First I thought you meant a "cut about" Tricolore unit - the one with the plastic wrap-around wings, but it's not one of those. It seems to have the correct surround (with the louvres each side), not sure what the light unit is. Maybe one from Stein Dinse (https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_...cts_id=10411)? I understand these aren't OEM but a pretty good copy, from the same manufacturer (Tri am?).

Speaking of unobtainable parts, I'd be interested in one of those correct rear light trims (with the louvres) if anyone has one in their garage surplus to requirements...

A few years back now the OEM rear lens were unobtainable, so some owners got hold of Tricolore items that were available quite cheap and cut off the outer wings, these had a smoked finish to them.
Now pattern copies of the later non smoked finish OEM lens are readily available on e-bay.
I hadn't realised that the SP3's came without the helmet lock fitted or that they had a carbon rear hugger as standard.

Mine came with the lock fitted.. regarding the rear light trim, I was wondering if perhaps anybody knew of someone who could perhaps 3D print a replica? 30 year old plastic, I wince every time I remove my seat unit worrying that one day i will beak off the bottom of it, biggest thing for me would be making sure I had the original unobtanuim cans although I saw some of the ally termis from Partsplanet on one of Steve Hillarys bikes at redmax and they looked spot on. Dont know how difficult it would be to obtain the original style SP3 clutch cover. Saying all that it looks about right for the money.

3-D printing a replica sounds like an excellent idea, perhaps made out of something a bit stronger? The original is so flimsy, mine has broken at the bottom right corner - not while I was removing the seat, just happened. I'm running the bike without it at the moment, doesn't actually look too bad. I did try and get the winged light from a Tricolore to fit, but I it wouldn't, the angle of the wings isn't quite right.

Couple of pictures of the clutch cover on my SP3 - I've no reason to believe that it's not original?

Don't suppose you've got a rear light surround in that box, surplus to requirements???!
