Air Box - UK reg Frame - Front light bracket

Hi,

I'm hopefully racing in a new class but I need a standard AirBox and Front light bracket to hold the fairing.

Also my normal yearly ask for a UK reg frame.

I have a OEM airbox from a '93 SPO

From memory , the 888 SPO aibox has the air inlets in the front and the 851/888 have the inlets at the rear.................or ?. This means you will need the shorter air tubes as well.

My '92 851 had the inets in the rear. The '93 SPO 888 has them in the front. I don't know which he needs.

Either or the best :-). I have to remove my Race carbon air box and replace with a standard box for the Race series.

Go with the bigger one , intet in the side, from sp5 and spo... BUT note that you Cant have a cross bar !

I have the later 888 SPO airbox. You can make the cross brace removeable if it has one. There are pics on this forum if you do a search

A removable cross bar will not make a difference, cant be used with later airbox .

I never actually tried it. It appears as though the cross brace is at the same level as the filter. ??

Yes, if cross bar ; only small air box Will fit.

Just had a look my old frame was the SPo, the one I am running now is Standard 888 (not 851/888). So no cross brace.

As I'm in the DemsoDue @ North Glous series I'm trying to get the bike ready for the Prostock 3 series but one part of the regs says I must have an unmodified standard airbox. So I need to replace the Corse airbox I'm currently running but this also means I need a front fairing bracket, which will be fun to get hold of.

Go for the big airbox, came with optional open lid .. closed version can be cut open along a small rim, but careful and use a saw.. NOT box cutters or any other finger removing devices! ;-)

Getting hold of one is the issue. Someone has the smaller (cross bar) version but it's in Oz.

Ihave the large one like Stig pictured. I don't however have the very top part that holds the filter down.

But, I'm in the USA

Cheers guys. I have a couple of options available now so I'll see what the costs come out at. all I need now is a fairing / clock bracket.
