If they assembled out of pieces-- they found some very rare pieces. As I said- only the factory Works bikes had those forks and those brake rotors which were narrowband/deep offset for the early three-spoke wheel. The frame is correct- but they do not give the frame number.

There are a few differences between the frames which originally came on Corse's and the crash replacement frames - so you do not need to see the frame number to assess- but I would have to be able to see it in person.

After 25 years of owning/tracking/restoring Corse's I have noticed a few things over the years you cannot find over the internet.

you're absolutely right, but the problem with an assembled bike is that it has no history, it has no value but the poor piece of iron with which it is assembled.

Ahhh-- and then you get into the age-old debate of if the pedigree/history follows the frame even if OEM parts were assembled on that frame- but not original to that frame. Degrees of value at each level of "as last raced". A black hole debate with strong opinions on every side.

well, it's just a personal consideration, that bike was for sale on other sites for 60,000, now since it has no history, since it's all to prove that it works properly to run on the circuit, I don't know who would want to put it in the living room near the TV. at this point I buy a special v4 panigale. but I repeat they are absolutely subjective considerations.

in general, people are not happy with their ... some sellers think they can ask for crazy figures for reassembled bikes ... there were also those who wanted 250 for a rear light of an 888. the only judge is the market . it's more than a year that that bike is on the market no one will take it for that price.
