Steering damper frame bracket

Looking for the frame mount for the left hand side for mounting the steering damper to, Any kicking about??
May consider damper and fork mount also

yes looking for same as well. got 996 OEM damper trying to fit.

I doubt that the OEM 996 damper will have enough stroke to fit the 851/888 in the typical mount.

Do a search Jack, I know it's been covered on here in the last year or two.
I know this for a fact, as I bought one from e-bay after a recommendation from a fellow forum member.
...and it only cost pennies chap, although I did drill out all of the threads and fit them with Helicoils.

Ive found one thread with the info and looks like a 7/8" bicycle mirror clamp is what has been used by some, Very cheap and easy to mod if need be,

Should do the trick nicely

I think I might have been the one to suggest this , It is just a handlebar clamp , cheap as chips , I think 3/4 inch was the size. Has been on the bike for the last few years with no issues. Not for the purists but O.K. if your frame is already painted and you want to add the steering damper like I did.
