Hi Folks,
Had a little work done on my ncr rep, 900 Bevel gts None Bevel Engine.
Built using V2 pistons HC, matching Top End.
Run's rearly well but on this morning run I noticed a lot on condensation in my cranking case vent (clear tube) tube lenght from vent to tail fairing approx 900mm always on the rise, venting to Air. No container.
Is their a better option I could considder, as I feel letting the condensation drain back in to Engine is the worse case senario Weather was, V Cold, Blue Sky but Damp
Any advise appriciated.
Cheers
Paul

Put a flapper valve on the end of the hose is about all I could suggest. The early models without breather tanks all had them.

Thanks Griff,
Sorted a one way value BMw m3 22mm spigots, I see what you are saying in Relation open to atmosphere all the time. Can try and will monitor

The early ones are pretty primitive, a piece of 1.5mm rubber sheet with a tang running in the middle for another 3/4. There is not much tension. You'll soon find out if it's too much as oil will start pissing out seals. A mate just had to sort out a home made one on a single.
I have an original one as fitted to 750 sports and early 750 and 900 SS's, i'll Dig it out and take a pic.

1mm rubber not 1.5.
