Ok guys, here we go. I kind of have a unique situation here in that this bike was given to me by the shop that sponsors me so that I could convert it to a racebike/pseudo-communal track hack. I'm not a greedy guy, so, taking these factors into account, and also due to the fact that I don't know exactly what the market/ price factors are for 851 parts, this is how I'd like to initially proceed.

The bike is complete other than the front fairing; it was in (minimally) heated storage for 7 years, and has 22,895 miles on the clock. The bike has definitely been dropped on either side at some point; the clip-ons and foot levers are both bent (levers only slightly). I don't think the bike was lowsided; I'm something of an expert on this having crashed numerous times at the track myself. It looks to be in decent condition; the (non-original)paint on the frame and wheels is faded, but it doesn't look to me like the bike sat outside for extended periods as the rest of the components don't have the patina that results from that situation. So, was it sitting near a window for 7 years? Was the paint inferior? I don't know, but I'd guess it's something along those lines.

As of now, I know that I'm keeping the following:

frame
rear suspension components
swingarm
rear axle
front and rear subframes
gas tank
slip-on exhaust (not the header)
forks (possibly)(yokes/stem are for sale)
engine cases (possibly)

And that's it. ANYTHING else not listed above is for sale:

motor/injector parts
air box
radiator
oil cooler
air box
gauges (needles faded)
complete wiring harness
all electrical components
brakes/rotors
oem wheels
clutch/brake MCs (both nice except for the inevitable corrosion on the res caps)
seats
rear bodywork
headlight
taillight
etc, etc...

You guys most likely know the components, and prices for parts, on this bike better than I do, so if there is something you/want need, contact me, I'll get you pics, make me a reasonable offer (I'm not familiar with the bike, but I'm no dummy either), and we'll go from there.

A couple of details:

I would possibly be interested in partial trades/$$ for alloy sub frames.

It is my intention to completely disassemble the motor in order to part it out. This could change, though, if you need/want a complete motor..

I charge only actual shipping rates. I will use whatever service/insurance you prefer/designate. If you ever buy anything from me and find it to be dissatisfactory, I will return 100% of your payment upon re-receipt of the (unaltered) item (you pay for return shipping). Sound fair?

Marchesini magnesium 17x3.5 3-spoke front wheel with spacers for both 20mm and 25mm axles (25mm currently installed), black, true, decent and totally usable (but not beautiful, this was a track wheel)... $325 + shipping

Marvic magnesium 17x6 3-spoke rear, unfortunately cracked, doesn't hold air, BUT with a good cush drive. ( And hell, maybe you have unlimited access to an x-ray machine and you happen to know how to weld magnesium as well? It could happen..) Or maybe you just want/need the cush drive? $$??
