For those members who are interest in trivia.

As I am working on my '91 Corse I am also rebuilding a '94 Corse motor.

In the past I have posted a few pictures of how the inside of a '91 Corse motor compares to the inside of the '94 motor. The pictures showed the evolution of how the factory first simply lightened the gears as well as lightened and highly polished the rockers--- by '94 they were also put a high polish on the gears and narrowing the teeth by cutting them back on the sides. Not to bore members I think I only posted a few pictures on the forum and sent more to forum members who PM'd me.

In that spirit--I thought I would provide a minimum of pictures that show the evolution of the throttle bodies. There were very little differences and they had to do with the evolution of the carbon fiber support brackets, the velocity stacks, and how they routed the hoses.

The '91 TB used carbon brackets - the right side was straight and used aluminum tubes to provide the offset to the back TB--just like the street TB support bracket which was all metal with pressed in tubes for the offset.

The left side carbon bracket had an offset for the rear TB.

The top of each injector had a metal plate.

The fuel hose starts on injector #3 goes to #4, then to #2, then to #1, finally to the fuel pressure regulator. The velocity stacks are spun aluminum.

The '94 TB used a slightly thicker right bracket but rather then account for the rear TB offset with aluminum support tubes, the bracket itself had a built in offset. The left bracket was the same as the '91 bracket.

The plates on top of each injector was now made of carbon fiber.

The hoses are sequenced like the street SP's. The fuel hose first goes to the #4 injector, then to #3, then using a metal U tube goes to #2, then to #1, and ends up at the fuel pressure regulator.

I prefer the older sequence because it allows the hose from the tank to come straight forward to the middle of the two TB-- the '94/street routing requires the hose to come across and back to #4 which I think is a bit clumsy for the Corse tank. For the street tank your fuel outlet is back farther and under the tank so it makes a more direct route going to #4.

And the velocity stacks are carbon fiber-- I have seen a few versions of these- from fairly narrow to a pretty large bell-- but most looked like the ones in these pictures.
