Answered my own question here, they look to be an Ohlins part as this style of preload adjuster came fitted to my forks as standard on the Bimota YB8 Furano!

God knows what my existing adjusters are??

Default Pre loaders

Hi Jonathan,

Sorry I have no idea really, given the amount of interest when the pictures went up including a very good offer or two I am presuming that they are original but corse or ohlins?

Somebody here will know for sure, Lucky if you are out there do you remember where you got them from?

Perhaps they are scarce cos people forget to locktite the grubscrew? I will use a blob of silicone sealant as well I think

Glad it all worked out and thanks again to Andy for the effort, all we need now is a workshop full of magic elves and they can make all the parts we need while we are asleep and pop them in the window ready for viewing in the morning

Guy851

PS Anybody know (Guy?) the origin of the originals that these copies were made from; are these copies of Corse adjusters/supplied by Ohlins/after market ones? Just curious, also anybody recognise the preload adjusters fitted to mine? - wonder if they were a Bimota part of not??[/quote]

Hi - just to say I am still waiting on a couple of members to make contact regarding the adjusters they were allocated from the first batch! (I've sent you both a PM to remind you).

If they don't contact me by wednesday i'll allocate them to those that are waiting (Mr R, erthmvr888, Phil911 & Carbohans). It's just that i'd like to confirm final numbers and place an order with the machine shop before I head down to MR R's county for a weeks holiday on Friday.

Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,
If you're coming down 'ere to almost France, (St Ives wasn't it?) ping me a message and hopefully we'll hook up, it would be nice to meet you.

Steve R

P.S. Send us your passport details and we'll let the TPLA Tor Point Liberation Army know that you're coming, they'll flag you through on Nessie's say so...

c,mon guys you put your hand up wanting them, AJV has gone to the trouble of getting them made and distributing them, the least you can do is NOT be tardy with helping the guy recoup his outlay. so shake a leg!
