Wow That looks nice/amazing, I am envious, my first ducati was a 92 851 I got in 93 used, wish I still had, did the motor bolt in without mods, to the fame? Trav

The engine bolts in. No exhaust that I know of fits without lots of modifications and the airbox had to be made up. Wiring will not be too difficult. There are several other forum members who have done it and have posted in the Projects section.

Nice one lads,
I like the fun on this forum as it rarely gets out of hand. Peter/sp2boy, There's no such thing as Father Christmas/Santa Claus and sadly that's a fact! But I've kept the lie going for as loooong as I could having 6 children. ![]() The 2 youngest (little girls of 5 + 6) still REALLY belive that if they misbehave Father Christmas's little helpers aka the birds in the garden who watch them through the windows, will tell him when they've been bad... You start off with a sack full of toys, when you're bad he takes a present away, if you're sooo bad and run out of toys, he puts a piece of coal in your sack... Really naughty little girls get a sack of coal for Christmas! I know it sounds bad but it does work, the elder children 4 lads ranging from 18-23 all keep the lie/myth going. So I strongly suspect that the note that you've got hold of is a fake, did it smell of rancid dripping, Black pud, Whippet stew or possible have a faint whiff of Cromer Crab? Steve R |

strange that the coal thing runs through out the country !! as a child i was told that i would get a sack of coal if i was a bad,en , but living in the mining area as i do coil or slag was readily available off the heap ( all be it at nite ), but again the importance of coil is used again at new year with the first foot job !!! hmmm a bad thing at xmas but a good thing at new year

Coal's not a bad thing down 'ere Spike, I love it when the kids are bad it saves me a lot of cash at Xmas time and we keep warm...
We've got a woodburner (Multi fuel stove, it'll burn almost anything even the annoying neighbours) in the inglenook fireplace, in the day we load it with wood but for overnight we load it up with coal, then shut down the dampers. Once it's banked up with the coal it'll keep going for 24 hours with the dampers shut down. Result! Now where's my old button badge, the one that said... 'Coal not Dole'??
