In the mud and rain
England have won the Rugby World Cup and the Football (soccer) World cup.
How many World Cups have the sheep shagg...Sorry the Welsh ever won?

I'll rest my case on that note, apart from saying that we beat the Aussie's in the rugby final, the least said about football and the Germans the better.
But the ball did cross the line when 'Sir Geoff Hurst' got the only ever hat trick in a World Cup final...

She's just asked...
"Has Jack' heard our British derge 'God Save the Queen' lately?
For me/us it's like a Leonard Cohen number...very clever but it's music to slash your wrists or die by.

P. S. I'm not anti gay/homophobic and wouldn't want to upset or insult any forum members but...
If Vale's not gay, I've got a 3ft dick and the last time I checked it wasn't anywhere near that looong.
vale and uccio ?

to answer to her, yes, I know "god save the queen" but, really, it could be better I don't translate ours ...

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_Canto_degli_Italiani

Brothers of Italy,
Italy has awoken,
with Scipio's helmet
binding her head.
Where is Victory?
Let her bow down,[2]
For God has made her
Rome's slave.
CHORUS:
Let us join in a cohort,
We are ready to die.[3]
We are ready to die,
Italy has called.
Let us join in a cohort,
We are ready to die.
We are ready to die,
Italy has called!
We were for centuries
Downtrodden and derided,
because we are not one people,
because we are divided.
Let one flag, one hope
gather us all.
The hour has struck
for us to join together.
CHORUS
Let us unite and love one another,
Union and love
Show the people
The way of the Lord.
Let us swear to free
Our native soil;
United under God,
Who can defeat us?
CHORUS
From the Alps to Sicily,
Legnano is everywhere;
Every man has the heart
and hand of Ferruccio
The children of Italy
Are all called Balilla;
Every trumpet blast
sounds the Vespers.
CHORUS
Mercenary swords,
they're feeble reeds.
The Austrian eagle
Has already lost its plumes.
The blood of Italy
and the Polish blood
It drank, along with the Cossack,
But it burned its heart.
CHORUS

TBH Jack,
We've both read those words and thought them not to bad...
Have you actually read the words to the British national anthem 'God Save the Queen'?
I'll warn you if you look them up or even worse listen to the tune, for Gods sake please hide any sharp knives/razors in your house.
I'd put them up myself, but wouldn't like to be responsible for your possible suicide...
They really are that dire!

Well today I've had a lovely time out with Nessie, our 2 youngest children (little girls) up at the veggie patch and our Black Labrador Sam.
Then on my return I found out that my fav' football (Soccer)team West Ham had lost and are in deep shit but...
My day was really made up when the final score from the England v Wales Rugby match came through...

YES!!!!!!!!!!

That's one down and only the French to beat in my book, of course if England beat the rest of the 'Also Runs' it will also be alright, but for me it's all about the Wales or France games.

Not much of a game Jack, a lack lustre performance by both teams - especially the Irish!

However it was a very good day – great seats (6 rows back on the half way line - see pic), first pint of genius at 12 noon last one at 2 in the morning!

Yesterday not so good however

Hope your not including Ireland in that Steve;
