Default Hi - newbie to the 851 world

    Hi Guys
Just bought an 851 Tricolore on the weekend. Will not pick it up for a week or so so will stick up a few pics when delivered.

Have a few bikes in the shed but have only been riding for about 4 years. Actually took it up as a prelude to restoring a car as I figured a bike would be easier. In the end dumped the cars and have kept going with the bikes. Now have 47 in the shed and the driveway and the carport and ...... I think you get the picture.

The 851 is an import to Australia but a European delivered model. It has come to Australia via Japan. For the trainspotters I'll post the vin soon. I also picked up a fair few spares with the bikes including several tanks, plastics, cylinder heads, computers, wheels, forks and a frame. Look forward to learning all about these awesome machines.
    Cheers

    PK

Welcome PK, I'm sure some of the memebers will look upon your 851 Tric with envy.
That's some record, only riding 4 years and 47 bikes in the shed. What's the story?
    Cheers

47 is an impressive number of bikes. My wife would have me sleeping in the shed if I had that many! Post some pictures of your collection.

The collection has been a bit of a thing that has just occured you could say, first there was 5 or 6, then 10 the 25 then...... I did promise my other half I'd stop at 50 and I have now just about run out of room and moving things around is a pain.
Originally I wanted different engine configurations, then street equivalents of bikes that ran in the Castrol 6 Hour Endurance Race we used to have here in Oz, then it was just topping it off with a couple of classic bikes I'd like or obvious holes. So here goes in age order
