    Default AHRMA New Orleans

Next stop on the AHRMA 2014 National Historic Cup Roadrace Series is the Big Easy -- New Orleans -- March 28-30th. Next Gen Superbike should be interesting as not only will there be at least one more Ducati 888, but Jamie James (ex-factory rider and AMA Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock champ) will be there racing one of his old Vance & Hines Yamaha OW01s. So it looks like the race will be for second place . . .

Jamie James - very cool! Don't forget he did well on a FBF 888 too.

David Sadowski was at Roebling riding an E-Bike and is scheduled to be at NOLA as well. Perhaps I should put him on my 888 to go out and dice with Jamie?

I'm thinking of buying an old 88 GSXR 750 or 89 ZX7 (raced both in my youner days:P)) and doing Road America this year just for fun!!

Do it! I'd go with the 92 ZX7 if I could find one, as it was the best of that generation of four-cylinders. Watch eBay and Craig's list -- they pop up all the time for under $3k. Here's a cool 91 R model that sold on eBay for $3,200.

Of course, for just a *bit* more, you could have had this race-ready RC30 . . .

I'll sell you a 851/888 with S4R engine. Lotsa parts go with it. It's still in a box but could put it together if the price was right.
