I will try the museum next week, thanks for the name there.
does this forum not have a register already. good idea about shout outs from 500 plus tagged bikes.
might put to bed once and for all total numbers ..... and duplicates.
will let you know how I get on at the museum.

Isn't the, SPO essentially a Strada made to look like an SP5? (which would have been made the following year anyways) never heard of a LTD, is that a US market version like the Paso LTD?
"The bike I would like to have in my personal museum is a Ducati 888, the last one before the 916. This is the best Ducati, the 916 is elegant but the 888 is the best. Massimo Bordi

    Hi Jimmy,
The SPO and the SPO LTD's were both American market models, they're basically the same bike Strada's dressed up to look like the SP5's, but different model years.

101, Ducati SP4s [SPS] 100% For sure, 5OO and something SP4 models, if Ducati confirmed the frame no is genuine and in the series and its not been tampered with, well at least the frame is correct!.

I had a look at Falloons book last night and he doesn't specify numbers for the SP4.

Found an article in a Dutch motor magazine (moto73 no 19. 10-09-1992)
It's a test between the SPS and SP4.

The author writes there will be 100 SPS's produced for homologation in the Italian productionbikes championship and...

6 times as many SP4's will be produced!

So now we have a total of 700 SP's in 1992!?!?
