    Default Exhaust header size question

851 Tricolour kit exhaust header pipe 57010011A. Is it 50mm like SP3/4/5? I imagine it's going to fit ( bolt straight onto and fit the same as ) an SP3/4/5 item?

    Thanks.

I have had a multitude of SP 50mm headers. 99% of them are the 45mm head tubes, 50mm outlets like all the SP.
But I have had a couple early headers that were 45mm head tubes, and 42mm Strada outlets. I don't know if they came from the Roche Replica or the Tri-Colore.
Nice thing with those headers was that they were larger than Strada, but could use standard mufflers.

I have only seen RRR's with 50 mm exhaust cans. Were the cans on the Lucchinelli replica's also 50 mm? I cannot tell from this photo.

    Default Early headers

As Reed says "But I have had a couple early headers that were 45mm head tubes, and 42mm Strada outlets"

IMO these were the standard factory fit Tricolore Kit headers and yes the Kit and RRoche silencers were 42mm and low level.

I have a set of the silencers here and they are certainly 42mm not 50mm

The larger bore 45-50mm systems will fit the tricolore just fine as long as you have silencers to fit and the brackets to hang them as the Tric's both Strada and Kit had low level hangers in steel as part of the subframe

    Hope this helps

Really-- do you have pictures of a RRR with low exhaust cans?
