Looks like the kind of ridable classic I would like to own but that price is way over the odds. At least they admit it is a difficult bike to price and they are open to discuss. Museum quality may be worth that much but used condition I dont think it should command more then an SP 3,4 or 5? Around 10k it would be tempting, around 8k I would grab it. Tough call but will be v interesting for the guys who own them already!

In Italy, that might be a bargain......

But i think it's not a good ride. Better to switch on an SP3 - SP4 to have a good fun.

    IMHO

    Hi pompey,

I have just sold a couple of bikes this last week, one chap very interested in buying bike but excepted I was not letting that one go, the second chap offered me 10k and is still emailing me to discuse it, both are dealers.
Mine is considderably in better nick judging by photos, but I would say that, if I could post a pick I would but not that advanced in pc stuff.
As for being better than the Sp you mention, I dont think anyone would disagree with you, but as investment that might be different matter though all have a potential to be much better than the bank.

i take that point and agree completely. Its so hard to put a price on such rare bikes and justify worth. Collectors piece, riders choice , bit of both? I guess the final qualification is when someone buys it and what the seller will let it go for. But then other factors like needing to sell and no buying sense muddy the waters again. I forgot your bike was also for sale at 10k. Very surprised it has not gone. If you want to email me your pictures I can post them for you... pompeyis@aol.com
