Now with a single seat conversion and a carbon front hugger that wouldn't be a 1/2 bad looking trick 851...
It's already got a good exhaust system and fairly trick wheels, but the trouble is that a standard '91 Strada motor is just a bit limped wristed but...

Stick a pair of 888 barrels/pistons, 748 heads, (bigger valves and smaller combustion chambers) get it mapped and then it would fly!
My "Spare" '91 851/888's in this spec and it's a flyer, well it was before I started pulling the trick parts off of it.

    Hi Paul,
I bought the bike from a good friend (RIP Bob Palmer) who was retiring from bikes and moving abroad.
It had a lot of good/trick parts on it that I wanted, it was MUCH cheaper ('s) for me to buy the bike, remove these parts, return it to a standard(ish) condition and sell it, than it would have been to buy the parts on their own.
For a little bit of work (my time costs me nothing) I basically got all the parts and then some, inc' the registration # A * DUC for free.
...and I'm 100% sure that I can sell the finished bike for more than I paid for it.
