    Default Projet 888/S4RS

Its very slow progress, as the house is a refurb as well, so it gets a turn every now and then, hose to be shortend next then rear end, wheel alignment sprocket carrier and finish the under slung brake set up. Hope to have it on the wheels by end of year.

    Looking good!
A thought, if you mount the rear shock remote vertically with the adjusting knob through the undertray you can adjust with out removing the seat, something I'll probably do next time I have it rebuilt/serviced.

Little update, front end on, rear looks like Ive sussed the spacing issue need a little bit if turning down of the caliper brracket so I can fit the bronze bush inbetween, one last final measure first. Awaiting some SP5 rearsets to arrive soon.

hi. new here so forgive me the silly questions , but are you making a 851 lookalike from a 4 valve monster. Is it hard and expensive? i have been thinking of doing the same thing with a st4. maybe sir can direct me to someone on here that has done it?

No he's fitting a "Stretta" motor into a 888, a few on here have already done the swap.
Another common swap is fitting either a ST4 or ST4S motor into a 851/888.
...and making a ST4 look like an 851/888's been done as well.

    Default Update

A little more done, house and new job slowing it down a bit, next job is to get a chain on and see how it lines up, have gone to the bigger chain with one of those supersprox. Then have a full 50mm system and 998 50mm manifolds, it will be tight, but nice.

Now with pictures the correct way up!
