    Default ECU EPROM Images

Some P8 ECU images for 888 Strada/SPO. Unzip to get the "bin" file for programming.

P8_888_210_EE32 is the standard Strada EPROM image
(Standard Pipes and closed airbox) checksum is EE32

P8_888_038B_F316 is the SPO 038B EPROM image
(? pipes and ? airbox) checksum is F316

P8_888_FIMDAM_AA19 is the FIM DAM Megazone EPROM Image
(Open Staintune pipes and closed airbox) checksum is AA19

P8_888_SilMoto_6C3C is the SilMotor "888Strada" EPROM Image
(? pipes and / airbox) checksum is 6C3C

Checksum.zip contains a little windows program I wrote to generate the checksum for the bin files, using the standard byte addition method as used by most EPROM programmers. I use the Genius G540 programmer.

If anyone can update my comments about pipes/airbox or provide more images that would be great.

    Cheers,
    John

I found them on the Guzzidiag website.

    http://www.von-der-salierburg.de/download/GuzziDiag/

Scroll down near the bottom, the xdf's are there.
Obviously for Guzzis but fuel maps and most parameters seem to work!
Can anyone concur or provide a better solution? I have been looking for the elusive xdf for years! It's nice to finally see the maps in 3D rather than binhex!

Hmm? The P8 xdf seems to be fine, at least the fuel/ignition maps? I tried the P7 xdf to view a few P7 .bins in Tunerpro and it doesn't seem correct? I posted the xdf's link here so hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can make these more Ducati specific? If you can please post your changes back here! Thanks! Proceed with caution!

I opened the above files in Tunerpro with this xdf, attached below. It appears that the Stada and Fimdam display identical fuel, ignition, tps, ect..to the stock 038 chip. The 038B displays a nice gradual increase in fuel delivery, as expected. (Interestingly, I took the stock038 bin and increased fuel delivery by 3, 5, 7 and 10 percent increments, and the 7% fuel map I created was virtually identical to the 038B Tuned Euro chip!!) The Silmoto bin came up all zeros so the maps must be at a different address. When I say Identical, Im referring to the 3D images generated by Tuner pro! A comparison of the binhex data shows they are vastly different in a coded sense? This has lead me to beleive my xdf file, for a Guzzi P8 may be incorrect or the aftermarket chips are encrypted? Or they're just ripping us off, selling us a stock chip! The 040, 996sps maps all exhibit larger fuel levels and increased spark advance? So it seems to read Ducati's bins correctly? Only the aftermarket bins seem the sameas the stock 038? Am I missing something? Any tuner geeks want to chime in and check the xdf over? I'd love a second opinion!

strada is the base 888 eprom, also known as a 038. i have never seen one labelled 038 though, they always had 210 on them. fim DAM is an adjustable version of the 038 eprom, which you could then adjust with your hht. mapping is the same as std.

so yes, they should all look the same.

there is only 1 p8 eprom version afaik.
