Hi Tom,
I think your bike should be worth $30k--$35k stateside.
Having seen it in person, it's sure a beauty.

It's not what you ride.......it's how you ride it.
Here's a fax from FBF about works bike/frame #001 -- has the engine# at the time FBF owned it Travis
With those credentials and provinance.... that bike should bring at least $60k........maybe even $100k if the right people are there.
This should be interesting.
If anyone sees the results......please post a link.
Thanks......Mike

No worries Paul, I was quite wrong on this one.... as it should have sold for double or triple....... but I'm sure glad it didn't........)
Cheers.

I have some really bad news for you guys. The hammer price was actually $15,000. The $17,250 was the price with the auction premium. Someone got an ex-corsa works 851 racer for less than the cost of a new 1198...

Phil,
There you go an extra bargain to be had![]()

Bonhams has an excellent global reputation...
But given the very low price they obtained not that long ago for an SPS and now this I don't think i'd want them to sell any of my bikes.
I'd have expected that Corsa to make a minimum £30k in Europe.
Somebody got a bargain!
