Thats what I call a frame number DM001

    Notice the underbraced swingarm.

Anybody know the history/owner ? If it is what its says (can't see why not) then $30k - $50k must be cheap for such a piece of history, considering 'standard' Corse's are going for that sort of money.

This bike was bought by Ferracci and raced by Jamie James in the 1990 AMA series. Travis

Carbon can deform and also display dents especially when subjected to heat, It also depends upon its thickness as well as some other factors, I was teasing you!

In actual fact it is possible to tear carbon fibre with you bare hands. I have shown this to both Jasper and Spike, they will vouch that I am no Mr Universe with superman strength!

Not sure the 851 in 1998 was fitted with a carbon tank, I'm sure someone will know.

By '98 any of them could have been retro fitted with a carbon tank.
