    Default Orange

    Very interesting...

Mine played the same orange game.

I was told its down to the new water based lacquer that has been brought in on H&S or Euro rules.

I will check with the painter and report back

I don't know if this relevant to anything but I'll post it anyway. It was emailed to me from a friend a while ago just before he bailed from our forum.

Hi Marvin,Pass this along if youd like to the 851 guy looking for an answer, touch up is questionable as old paint changes texture & color to begin with ,anway here it goes. Ducati used Lechler SPA paint for their Ducatis prior to PPG trnasition & may still be useing some now who knows, anyway Lechler paint code for the white frame on 851's,900ss SL & wheels is a Lechler # 46216..somewhere in 1993 Ducati used PPG their ppg code is as follows 305.085. Lechler was used on all the vespas ,maseratis & then some as well.
    later...Dom

That might be why it was so wrong. The Standox code in the link above is perfect.
