    Thanks Griff!
I would bet that they are just as strong as the ST4 cases. Ducati was playing around with oiling about then, could account for the differences.

Yes the oil is interesting. Something out the spout of a teapot no less, offering less resistance than an open pipe end. And from there they started mucking about and managed some very positive results.

Is there an interchangeability with a BMW fuel filter as well? I had heard that but didn't confirm at the time. I think the Beemer filter was half the cost of the Duc filter.
I'll have to check that again and get part #s and price.

Default Alternative part for tank clamp

The hinging locking clamp at the front of an 888 tank is no longer available as a Ducati part. However order part 76040041A ('94 Monster) and it is almost identical. The wire part of it that hooks over the tab on the frame behind the headstock is slightly longer on this part that the original, but you can pull off the wire loop and swap them over and then rotate it in the threaded housing to adjust it perfectly. Once done it looks externally identical.

    Hey got2dv8,
What happened to the list? Did Jimmy think it inappropriate or liable to attract some liability?
Seems to have been some general culling of attachments in various posts since I was last here.
    Best.
