    Default 1990 851 Superbike Fuel Tank wanted!

    Any ideas where I can acquire one of these?

    Hi Rob?

    I'm sure someone on here's got one they'll sell you but...
    If not you should contact TAB in Wales who make alloy tanks and can repair them.
    Only a very few years ago you could still find NOS ones in Europe, I've lost the link but
    another forum member may still have a link for you.
    I looked into buying one until I found out that the alloy ones are actually heavier than the later steel items.

    Nothing is impossible but essentially the steel ones fit with a front clip and have two rubber frame mounts and a hinge pin, whereas the alloy ones have two front pins that locate in two grommets and have a single bolt at the rear.
